Which vintage fruit are you looking forward to the most?

The oldest fruit of the crop – cherries – will continue to dominate the fashion scene through next season.

The cherries are already one of the most sought after fruits on the supermarket shelves, with the most popular brand – Burt’s Bees – launching a range of their own varieties.

But the new-fangled fruit is being given a makeover in 2017.

The new fruit will be called cherries and will be available in new-style fruit colours and sizes.

Burt’s Bee said they wanted to “give consumers the freedom to choose the perfect cherry”, with the new cherry varieties being “fancy and elegant”.

They also added that “all the cherry flavours are very different to the traditional taste of cherries, and offer an opportunity for people to experience the flavours of the cherry in a way that they never thought possible”.

The brand said they will be “delivering a range that is as beautiful and delicious as the cherries themselves”, with “fiery and fruity flavours” in the new varieties.

“The new cherries will offer an entirely new approach to the taste of the cherry and bring the perfect touch of tartness to the table”, they said.

The brand also added the new variety of the fruit will have “no added sugar or artificial flavourings”.

“The taste of our new cherry will be unlike anything you have ever experienced before,” they said, adding “The cherry flavour is not just a fruity one, it is a fiery and intense flavour.”

The new varieties will be the first new-to-market cherries to hit supermarkets since they launched in the United Kingdom in January.

They will also be available to order online in the UK from 11 December.
